When Logic Leads, What Do We Give Up?

Are you forgetting the best part of you? You Are Anthropose.

-Harsh Truths, Logical Pitfalls & Cold Sacred Waters -

This month, something quietly yet powerfully shifted in me. But first, I had to get over the direct challenge! So today, I share three practices to help you avoid the pitfalls that led to my challenge.

In a mentoring session, I was told — lovingly but directly — that I've been holding back the best and wisest part of myself.

I resisted at first. After all, I've been doing the work: showing up, leading on a challenging new initiative on AI platform and governance, and trying to bring more humanity and heart into tech. But in the process, I'd begun to mute my own wise voice and soul. Not out of trauma or fear — but from over-relying on logic. On intellect. On what can be mapped, measured, and proven.

🧠 When Logic Leads, But Soul Lags

In our world of data and deliverables, logic is often mistaken for wisdom. Logic can look like leadership. It feels like the right thing — responsible, clear, efficient, especially when you work in or around AI, where the rules are still being written.

Logic brings structure; it makes things happen. But soul brings truth, depth, and connection. The more I tried to inject soul into my work, the more I realised I had to reclaim it in myself first.

And here is the call: Remember, We Are Anthropose.

To return to something deeper. Something ancient. To live as Anthropose — Have you heard of that term? It means to be both, fully human and fully divine.

To be human we must move through this 3D world with awareness and our senses. But our senses are limited. The challenge is to stay connected to the unseen, our spirit, our divine nature. The greater consciousness we are all part of, even if we cannot see it or measure (yet) - remember Galileo, who spent time in jail for saying the world was round.

Can we embrace the vast mystery beyond our senses?

In truth, our 3D human perception — even through a scientific lens — is incredibly limited. Take sight: we see with just three colour receptors. We perceive just a tiny slice of the full spectrum of light and colour. Most of the world's vibrancy is simply invisible to us. If you really wanted to see the world in full technicolor, you'd want to be a mantis shrimp — with up to sixteen colour receptors, it perceives a universe of light we can barely imagine.

It's a humbling reminder: just because we can't see it doesn't mean it isn't there.

On A Side Note: Can you open your mind to shared consciousness…

If you haven't yet listened to The Telepathy Tapes podcast, I urge you to. It challenges everything we think we know — about non-verbal autistic children, shared consciousness, and the limits of logic. Just because something doesn't fit our usual ways of experiencing the world doesn't mean it isn't real or valuable.)

Living The Logical Way Vs Leading From Intuition

Let's be honest: when I live only from intellect, I'm efficient — but often anxious, over-controlling, people-pleasing - the road to burn out.

But when I let intuition lead — I FLOW. Ideas land. Inspiration comes in. Conversations shift. Compassion rises. I let go of drama and lean into curiosity.

That, to me, is awakening. Not a bolt of lightning, but a softening. Getting still and then remembering. An opening to another way, and then the magic, inspiration and soul, the slower and deliberate and even joyous parts of us, are invited in.

So, how do I reconnect to that soulful self? A few practices:

🛠 Practices That Invite The Best Of Me:

❤️ Hand on Heart: So simple, yet so effective.

The heart is the bridge. The heart, or Anahata chakra, is said to be th portal to our soul. I place my hand on my heart, breathe slowly (in for 3, out for 5), and anchor, igniting the light in my heart and letting it expand to fill me, the room, and then the world.

This is something I have encoded over years to remind me that I am wildly intuitive. This simple touch regulates me, and is my connection and call to my intuition. Reach out if you want to do the same.

🌿 Ayurvedic Rituals - A Daily Practice

In Ayurveda — the science of life — I learned practices that make me feel divine. One favourite?
Abhyanga is an oil self-massage that calms the nervous system and, for me, awakens the inner goddess. Even 2–3 minutes in the morning changes everything.

Benefits: It improves circulation, strengthens tissues, and calms the nervous system, making your skin so soft!

How to do it: Massage the body with oil (like sesame for Vata, coconut for Pitta, mustard for Kapha) - Vata; Pita and Kapha are different Dosha’s, or types of 'body systems in Ayurvedic systems (more of that next time). I use Sesame oil (good for most of us) with drops of lemongrass essential oil.

  • Message upwards on the head with tender fingertips and gently around the eyes

  • On the upper body, use long strides upwards and on joints like the elbows in a circular motion.

  • Anti-clockwise on your stomach area (as you look down)

  • Go downward away from the nymph nodes for the rest of the body.

Take your time, ideally 10 minutes, for optimal benefit, but trust me, you too will feel like a God/dess when you do this. Or even better, ask someone else to do it!

💧 Sacred Water, Sacred Song: Be Cleansed - Release - Remember

This month, for my birthday, I bathed in the Sacred White Springs in Glastonbury—just me, a dear friend, and a soul ceremony.

Imagine a dark underground cavern, candles dimly lit, and two sacred pools. This ancient place honours the sacred feminine, but a shrine is there for the divine masculine for balance, the sun and moon and the Black Madonna.

My friend sang unbeknown to me as I stepped into the freezing waters. It echoed like angels. I cried. I let go. I remembered myself, and I honoured my ancestors and the Divine in me - in us all.

Where can you go to awaken the best of you?

🪞And Now… Over to You

So here’s my invitation to you. Take a moment. Reflect. Ask yourself honestly:

  • Are you leading from your wholeness — or just from what can be proved?

  • What part of your inner wisdom have you silenced or ignored lately?

  • What would it look like to lead — not just in work, but in life — from your soul & intuition?

  • When was the last time you let yourself truly feel — before you acted or decided?

We don’t need to reject logic — but we do need to balance it with soul and curiosity. With a gentler, more curious way of knowing. Can you open from there? You never know what kind of magic might return if you let your soul back into the room.

With Moonbeams

PS, let me know if you feel you’ve fallen into the logic trap too.
